Bridge & Games Groups

DUPLICATE BRIDGE is at 12:30 on the 2nd. Thursday of the month.  Experienced bridge players and newcomers alike who would like to learn to do duplicate are welcome – just bring a partner.  Drop ins are welcome. For more information contact either Kathy Unti or Mary Jo Kubeluis, Co-Chairs.

DESSERT GAMES – Socialize, Catch Up, Laugh and Play Games.  Dessert Games is an activity with tables of Club Members (and in some cases their guests) who play bridge, canasta, mahjong, hand and foot, or any other card or board game.   The activity meets on the third Wednesday of October and November, January through May at 12:30 PM.  Each participant pays $5.00 per month and enjoys dessert, coffee and tea provided by monthly rotating hostesses from among the participants.  The money collected supports the scholarship fund and other activities of the Woman’s Club.  For further information please contact either of the Co-Chairs of Dessert Games: Alice Petizon or Judy Tormey. Click for the Dessert Games Flyer.

TUESDAY GAMES – If you enjoy playing games and socializing with friends, then Tuesday Games is the place for you! Every Tuesday, from 1:00 – 3:30, Woman’s Club members meet at the Clubhouse (for now, in the garden) for an afternoon of bridge, canasta, Mah Jongg, hand and foot, etc. You can be a novice, intermediate or expert player; everyone is invited! No reservations necessary, it’s a “drop-in” games day. A $2 donation is requested each time you play.

Come when you can, as often as you can. You will meet new people, rekindle friendships, improve your mind, forget your worries, win and lose, and have an enjoyable Tuesday afternoon. For more information, contact co-chairs Carol Elliott  or Mary Ann Parsons
